What is this about?
Arizona privacy laws prohibit Big Tech companies from knowingly obtaining the public utility records of Arizona residents without consent. Arizona law also makes it illegal for public utility companies to knowingly sell their customers’ information to Big Tech companies without consent.
We are investigating whether some public utility companies in Arizona, including the Salt River Project (SRP) and Tucson Electric Power (TEP), may have violated state privacy laws by assisting Big Tech companies to record or collect website visitors’ activities without consent. If you recently logged in to your accounts on the SRP or TEP website, you may qualify for a claim for financial compensation for potential privacy rights violations.
What can I do?
If you logged in to your account on the SRP or TEP website within the last year, you may qualify for a claim. Submit the form to see if you qualify.
What am I signing up for by filling out the form?
By filling out the form, you are expressing your interest in learning more about participating in a class action as one of the class representatives. As a class representative, your job is to look out for the best interests of the class (other Arizona residents whose privacy rights may have been violated).
Will this cost money?
No, there is no cost to you. You will sign an agreement for Zimmerman Reed to represent you in a potential class action, but we only get paid if we obtain a financial recovery for you. If Zimmerman Reed is not successful in getting financial compensation for you or the class, you will owe us nothing.
What happens next?
After filling out the form, you will be prompted to schedule an initial phone call with a Zimmerman Reed representative who will answer any questions and complete your intake process.
