What's Going On?

AG1 (formerly known as Athletic Greens) is a supplement company that has gained widespread popularity on social media and podcasts. AG1’s signature product is a green-colored shake, also known as AG1, which the company claims “replace[s] multiple supplements by covering nutritional gaps with a comprehensive blend of nutrients.” AG1 also claims that its product “meet[s] your foundational health needs.” The front label on the packaging of AG1 claims “Comprehensive + Convenient Daily Nutrition.”

We are investigating whether AG1 violated consumers’ rights by misleadingly and deceptively marketing its products.

  • AG1’s claims of providing “comprehensive” nutrition are allegedly misleading because AG1 lacks essential nutrients, including vitamin D and iron, or sufficient fiber to meet recommended daily values.
  • AG1 claims that its green-colored shake “delivers a blend of probiotics for healthy bacteria to the gut along with prebiotics that serve as nutrition for probiotics—allowing them to grow in beneficial numbers and better support metabolism.” But some experts have pointed out that the number of probiotics in AG1 is “miniscule” and a “drop in the swimming pool,”[1] and that the “probiotic hype overtakes the science.”

What Legal Rights Do I Have?

AG1 requires its accountholders to agree to terms and conditions that require claims to be resolved through individual arbitration, rather than in court. But if you purchased AG1 from Amazon.com, you are not bound by the arbitration agreement and can pursue your claim in court through a class action. Our law firms have extensive experience handling consumer class actions, and we are here to help consumers interested in presenting such claims to recover compensation for their losses.

By filling out the intake form, you are indicating your interest in serving as one of the class representatives in the case. That means your name would go on the lawsuit and you would assist Zimmerman Reed in pushing the case forward on behalf of other class members.

What Fees or Costs Do Zimmerman Reed and Janove PLLC Charge?

You will not be responsible for any fees or costs unless we obtain compensation for you and other class members.
